TWO career criminals with more than 160 previous convictions between them have been jailed for burglary by a judge who branded their crimes most serious offences Daniel Fisher, 38, and Adam Tame, 30, were jailed for 40 months and 32 months respectively for offences in which goods worth thousands were stolen.

The pair were caught after Fisher left DNA at one crime scene and a footprint at another while Tame was caught on CCTV.

Uniyme Davies, prosecuting, said: ‘It appears that it was Fisher who entered the property and committed the burglary but Tame could be seen on CCTV at points sitting outside in a car and outside the property.’

The court heard both men have troubled backgrounds.

Tame, of Lake Road, Portsmouth, who has convictions for 109 offences, admitted one count of burglary. Another burglary was taken into consideration.

Fisher, who has convictions for 52 offences, admitted three burglaries.

Recorder Maria Lamb, sentencing, said: ‘It’s very difficult for someone to suggest that these are not the most serious offences.’
